DC-10 Collection FSX is an airliner add-on product for the flight simulator packages FSX and FS2004. This collection offers 15 variety of aircraft models in DC10, one of the first wide body airliners which has three engines with the centre engine positioned in the vertical tail. The variety of aircrafts includes aircrafts from different countries and air fueling tankers and also the military variants. The well described tutorial provided with the downloadable manual is helpful to ensure that your flights go smoothly once you load the new aircraft. The tutorial takes you on a flight between Penang and Singapore. This long flight, gives you plenty of time to get used to the systems. The tutorial allows you to take the flight either starting with a cold and dark scenario or allows you to simply press Control-E for a quick start. Cold and dark scenario takes you through the complete engine startup sequence. The Virtual Cockpit is beautifully modeled and the manual tells you where you need to look for each sub-system to find all the switches you needed. On the cruise phase in a long flight, you will have enough time to admire the superb external model of the aircraft. You can also try the air-to-air refueling with the tankers provided. ood quality of model design and textures, animations and flight model characteristics needed for an aircraft add-on product.
